Red Centre_Alice Springs

Any doubts yet on why it's called the "red centre"?...

While walking around the city, we have met some wonderful people who... save kangaroos! They have a permit ro raise orphans until the age of 2, when they are released in liberty.

This baby was about 4 months old. He'd been brought in by a couple of tourists who have found his mom dead on the freeway; she was carrying him.

Now, we still recieve monthly news from him: he's growing big! He's well now...

At that moment, when I was carrying him, he must have been less than a kilo. It really felt as if I was carrying an empty towel....

Okay... this is gross!!!! It is a statue in front of a shop where you can buy "second hand" things...
