Tahiti _ Map & Hotel

This is Tahiti. The bigger part is called Tahiti Nui, and the smaller Tahiti iti. The airport is in FAAA, Papeete is the capital and our hotel was in Punaauia.

Then, look on the map on the south side of Tahiti iti: the place called Teahupoo. It's known for its killer wave. Go on UTube, and look up "Laird Hamilton Teahupoo"... that guy is CRAZY!!! The first time Kelly Slater saw this wave, he refused to surf it! He finally surfed it, but much later...

This hotel was heaven for me: it even had a baby dog and a baby cat!!! ;-)
