Arriving in Rarotonga
Rarotonga is the main island of the Cook Islands (British Polynesia). This is a map of Rarotonga. We stayed at Vara's beach house. They have a huge property and rent houses. On the map it's on the lower right side.
We have spent one week on this island. To move around, we rented a scooter and it was just fine!

Of course, with all this travalling, there was no way to have no problem with the luggage... So, what had to happen happened. When we left Fiji, our luggage had to be removed from the plane (reminder: we checked in about 70kg each). It went back to Auckland and we eventually got it back 2 days later. Until then, Star Alliance (Air New Zealand) was kind enough to give us the emergency kit! Below: women's kit, and men's kit...

Study time (for me)... (this is not a joke, I had a 60-p paper AND an internship report to turn in, in order to graduate!)

This is not the first time... My ankles react very badly to mosquito (or whatever) bites... It happened in the Cook Islands... for a few days, I could barely step on that foot...

Saving the best for last... the view from our terrace! How neat is that reef?...
